The Ramsay Blue Tartan Large Blank Hardback notebook contains 192 pages on 80gsm FCS paper and is compliant with the new EU DR paper which means that the paper carries a certificate to show the paper is from sustainable forests, and that means that this paper does not contribute to deforestation and forest degradation globally. From end December 2025 all products containing paper being imported into or exported from the EU must be ED DR compliant.

For some time, we have been asked to produce a range of blank notebooks for notebook users who love blank pages to write on, and add the occasional sketch. We are delighted to be adding these for the new year 2026 and hope they contribute to new plans for those who love blank paper.

RAMSAY BLUE TARTAN: The Ramsay Blue tartan dates to the 1700s. It has blue stripes that signify loyalty to the Scottish Crown, with black a symbol of strength, and the white, purity. The Ramsay clan are of Anglo-Norman origin dating to the time of David I. One Ramsay was compelled to subscribe allegiance to Edward I of England in 1292 but in 1314 supported Bruce at Bannockburn, and signed The Declaration of Arbroath. There are many notable Ramsays.
