Real cloth tartan notebooks directement d_ecosse

Delighted to get this coverage in Papetier de France.com for the Waverley Scotland Commonplace Notebooks

Why 'commonplace'? Commonplace books, or 'commonplaces', were scrapbooks into which one could compile files, knowledge, thoughts and ideas. They were used by many thinkers and scientists of the Scottish Enlightenment such as David Hume, Adam Smith, Robert Burns, Adam Ferguson, John Playfair and James Hutton.

Many British writers used them. Sir Walter Scott, E M Forster, Arthur Conan Doyle, Francis Bacon and Robert Burns, Virginia Woolf among them. The demand for stationery and notebooks, something personal to carry, with no need for a battery that needs recharging, and something that is gentle on the eyes late at night, is strong.
