January 2020 new titles - celebrating Scottish traditional songs

Here at Waverley Scotland, we have tried to push the boundary a bit with tartan.

Many places - stores, gift shops, museum buyers - in Scotland tell us when we present our notebooks to them that they prefer not to stock 'tartan' as they feel it's so overdone. Many feel they want Scotland to be represented by more contemporary looks.

At Waverley we love tartan and fabric, and will continue as long as we can to try and use the cloth in a new way - we feel what we do is contemporary and fun. We love to celebrate the history of tartan and the wonderful, vibrant colours. For some time we have published books on Scottish traditions, and as an initiative for January 2020 we have looked at famous songs from Scotland. We all love singing and one of us in a choir. For January then, we have four new notebooks celebrating four of our most famous songs. Each notebook has the lyrics of all four songs on a leaflet inside. The notebooks arrive in January 2020. We hope you will love them.
