W B Yeats - a biography by David Ross
William Butler Yeats (1865 - 1939) is considered to be one of the greatest poets of the twentieth century. A Symbolist, his poetry drew imagery from Celtic legend, from politics, from mysticism, and from Celtic legend, from politics, from mysticism, and from his life, particularly his unrequited love for the revolutionary Maud Gonne.
